Suzanne Flenard is a former New Yorker and interiors professional, now residing in Paris. Square modern originated as an interest to introduce the European Community to modern textile designs popular in the United States, in addition to other Mid-Century Modern classics, These designer fabrics are selected from some of the most exclusive textile manufacturers that exist today including Maharam, Kvadrat, Knoll and others.
 
Square Modern uses primarily reclaimed fabric remnants, often found in limited supply. Therefore, the collection is produced in limited quantity and will continuously change as interesting textiles become available. All cushions are produced in Paris WHEREBY Each cover has finished edging, a hidden zipper closure and can be removed for dry cleaning. Due to the repeat of certain pattern designs, the cushion may vary slightly from the image shown.​
